ABOUT ME
"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others" ~Mahatma Ghandi

Hello! I am Leilani and I am ecstatic that you are here, taking the first step in helping yourself and/or your family. I have a passion for helping others and look forward to understanding how I can support you.
I am originally from Reston, Virginia, USA (a suburb of Washington, D.C.) and spent most of my life in various parts of Virginia. I graduated with high distinction from The University of Virginia with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies. After conducting research on parenting skills in at-risk communities, I pursued a Master's degree at The College of William and Mary. My focus on Marriage and Family Counseling has prepared me to work with individuals and groups with a systemic perspective.
I have credentials as a Qualified Mental Health Professional. While working in Upper/High Schools, Lower/Elementary Schools, and community settings I have supported numerous clients and their families optimize their lives. This might include facing low confidence, peer conflict, familial conflict, anxious symptoms, depressive symptoms, symptoms of ADHD & ADD, academic challenges, organizational deficits, or a simple desire to want more out of life!
I support individuals as young as 4 to older adults with coping strategies, methods of improving overall, holistic health, and tools to reach goals.
In my free time, I enjoy teaching group exercise classes, being outside, traveling, being creative, baking, and being with my family!
